Before our judges select the 100 best pieces of design in the region, you'll get to see every 100 Show submission at the Pre-show. Come see the work at 6pm and at 7pm see presentations given by our esteemed 100 Show Judges.

Sean Klassen

A sociologist by education, Sean has turned a lifelong passion for art and technology into a successful career in interactive design. He is a founder and partner at Legwork where he wears many hats, including creative director, designer, producer and front end developer. His work has been recognized by the Webby Awards, SXSW, FWA, Communication Arts, CNN and NY Times just to name a few. Sean spends his free time still screaming in punk bands, playing ice hockey and hanging out with his dog, Bruce.

Mary Kate McDevitt is a letterer and illustrator  originally from Philadelphia now based in Portland, OR. 

After graduating Tyler School of Art in 2007, Mary Kate worked as a graphic designer at Go Welsh. In 2009 Mary Kate branched out on her own, moved out west and started her full-time career as a freelancer creating custom lettering for wonderful clients including Chronicle Books, American Greetings, Fast Company, Little Brown Company, Target, and HP. Mary Kate works on a variety of projects like journals, book covers, greeting cards, editorial, packaging and ad campaigns. Mary Kate loves lettering and working with her hands and bringing warmth and personality to each project. When Mary Kate is not in the studio, you can find her drinking coffee, thrifting, or riding bikes. 


Ned Wright

Ned is a designer, creative director and technologist. Over the last decade he has created and directed award-winning work for recognized brands, big and small. Ned was recently the Creative Director at space150 – recognized by AdAge as Midwest Small Agency of the Year during his tenure. Creatively, Ned’s dedication and energy stem from an innate curiosity for technology, the natural world, art and design. Currently, Ned is starting a small technology-centered studio making things that matter for brands and people.

The LGDA was formed in 1988 in order to enhance the quality of design in our home community of Louisville, Kentucky. On a larger scale the group strives to educate the general public and business community about design and its effect on our daily lives. We are an entirely volunteer-based non-profit organization that relies on the passion of its members.
